Warehouse Assistant - Maldon - Salary up to GBP21,000
A well established manufacturer based in the Maldon area are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Assistant into their existing team. You will work alongside the Warehouse supervisor to ensure that the stores area is running as efficiently as possible as to not adversely effect the production process. You must be computer literate as you will be required to update the MRP system on a daily basis.

Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities:
* Work alongside the stores supervisor and production staff to ensure the quality of materials received are to specification to allow production to meet agreed work schedules.
* Ensure non-conforming materials are appropriately reported to the quality and purchasing teams.
* Update the ERP/MRP system on a daily basis, ensuring all incoming goods are recorded and delivered to the correct area.
* Assist with the goods out trailer storage and shipment as well as any third party collections.
* Assist with Kanban Cards and local stock replenishment.
* Liaise with the Materials Manager, assisting with the implementation of inventory cycle counting.
Warehouse Assistant Requirements:
* Computer Literate - Experienced with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
* Have experience of a ERP/MRP System
* Must be a confident communicator
* Be willing and able to learn new processes
* A current Forklift Truck License (Counterbalance/Reach) is desirable
Other:
* Salary up GBP21,000
* Mon to Thurs 7:00am - 3:45pm Fri 7:00am - 1:00pm
