Do you have HND or above in Food Science? Are you looking for a varied support role in the food sector? This new permanent job involves ensuring specified standard of product quality through all processes by carrying out tests, checks and examinations, and keeping up to date and accurate records.

You will be logging in orders and enquiries for own brand and imported food products, working closely with a Technical Manager. This involves handling any complaints regarding product quarantines, traceability or recalls.

You will also get involved assisting with physical cooking trials, customer product presentations and competitor comparison cook offs.

The key function of this role is all about providing adequate due diligence in food safety, so a knowledge of the Food Safety Act and QUID, plus good PC skills are essential.

30 hours per week shift pattern.
