Due to the continued growth, a well-established company based in Ashby - De - La - Zouch are looking to recruit an External Sales Executive on a full time basis to join their business on a permanent contract.
The purpose of this position is to deal with insurance related issues for customer groups to meet their financial needs.
Responsibilities:
• Review and advise upon customer general insurance requirements
• Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers. Follow up with calls.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of insurance products, as applicable to product licences
• Act as Financial Services Life Co-Ordinator and restricted introducer to obtain appointments for NFU Mutual Financial Consultant and meet Agency target. Also keep records and monitor performance of others
• Administer all networking instructions to meet Agency completion standards
• Comply with customer money collection and processing procedures to maintain Agency credit control
• Monitor work standards of individuals and provide feedback to enhance performance
• Produce correspondence to required timeframes and quality standards
• Maintain prospecting records using a database package.
• Plan, implement & Monitor Sales & Marketing initiatives across all business & product areas.
Personal Specification:
• Great telephone manner
• Sales and customer service skills
• Be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Possess good IT skills
• Have basic knowledge of insurance
In return my client is offering a salary of GBP20,000 - GBP22,000 per annum. Working hours 9am - 5pm and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
