We have an immediate vacancy for a Data Performance Analyst to work on automating reports for our clients wind farm performance data across a number of countries in northern Europe.
There is a great deal of data generated by the SCADA control systems on the wind farms and SAP that is used to report on a number of metrics including availability and Service performance.
You will be using software such as VBA and Excel to automate the generation of reports. Our client is open to any software being used to create these reports so any experience in relevant tools and packages such as Python or Matlab or MySql will be just as useful.
The ideal candidate will need to have a background in Engineering of some kind in order to have a good understanding of the issues involved and what the data and reports actually refer to. If you have experience of Plant, heavy engineering, maintenance or power generation then this will aid your application but any engineering experience will be of interest to our client.
You will be based in Edinburgh for this role and there may be some requirement for travel to sites around Europe.
This will be a 12 month fixed term position initially but with very good chance to extend beyond this and even become permanent.
