South Liverpool Homes (SLH) is a housing association responsible for over 3,700 homes in South Liverpool.  We are helping to transform the area through major investment, pioneering partnerships and by placing the people at the heart of everything we do.

Role and Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Development team, creating circa 200 new homes by 2020 in a range of tenures and property types and range of markets from starter homes to luxury apartments in Sefton Park. Reporting to the Development Manager you will support the delivery of the new build programme and be responsible for the procurement and delivery of the individual schemes allocated within an overall programme.

You will ensure that all allocated projects are managed successfully, efficiently and profitably providing support in monitoring budgets, specification, drawings and schedules of work for all allocated schemes.

Key Skills

The successful candidate will have proven experience within the social housing property maintenance and investment sector and significant knowledge of development in a social housing environment, requirements and good practice in relation to responsive and planned maintenance activity

You will possess excellent communication skills developing effective working relationships with team members across the association and with key external stakeholders and contribute effectively to change and continuous improvement and membership of IBE, RICS or CIOB is essential for the role.
