Membership and Communications Officer

About you in your new role:
You are the inspiration and drive behind our membership and communications. And you’re going to thrive in our small but dynamic organisation across the UK & Ireland.
This key role will see you lead and drive the organisation as the primary ‘Champion’ of membership and communications. Your work is to inform and engage our members, advance our membership services and ensure their impact and quality.
You will have excellent communication skills across a variety of platforms to ensure all our communications are clear and valued. You will be instrumental in the design and delivery of our Membership services. With excellent people and relationship skills, you will be capable of engaging with a very wide range of stakeholders.
You will be instrumental in helping us to communicate our new strategy and engage our broad range of members to make sustainability just good business.
We are a not-for-profit, member based charity, run by members for members. From starting out as a voluntary organisation in 1996, we have grown to represent over 2 million students and nearly 400,000 staff with a spending budget of over £25 billion. We help leaders, academics and other professionals to drive sustainability to the heart of their post-16 education institutions in the UK and internationally. We will commit to giving you lots of responsibility to develop your ideas and get things done. You will have the opportunity to develop and shape our membership and communications.
