Graduate IT Support –1 year placement

Salary: £8-11/hr Dep on Experience

Job Elements

·To develop computer experience in several aspects of IT

·Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line computer support to end users

·Build and replace end user computers

·Work with existing IT personnel on numerous projects over the next 10-12 months, including but not exclusively: -

oWindows 10

oPC encryption

oOneDrive and Office 365

·Developing scripts to housekeep shared folder e.g. moving unused files and folders

The ideal candidate will have:

·Degree IT graduate or somebody doing an IT degree who is seeking a placement year

·MS Office Toolset e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·Windows 7 and Windows 10

·PowerShell programming / Batch file command line

·Attention to detail

·Strong oral and written communication skills.

·Able to document solutions so others can benefit and understand how the problem was resolved and repeat the solution

·Able to move IT equipment from a shelf to a trolley and set up on a desk which may require working under desks
