HTS (Property & Environment) Ltd has been set up by Harlow District Council to provide housing repairs & maintenance and environmental services.

Working in the Capital Works Section, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors coming into the section and taking general enquiries over the telephone.  An avid team player with the ability to use your own initiative, you will need to demonstrate your ability to plan and organise your workload to meet conflicting demands and priorities.

You will help to ensure that residents are kept fully informed of major building works projects that affects their homes.  You will visit sites and liaise with residents and building contractors to ensure any problems identified are resolved.

You will be required to organise and service meetings and may be required to attend meetings out of normal working hours – a full driving licence is required.  Good IT skills are essential (e.g. Microsoft Office).  You will help to produce presentations to ensure residents are kept fully informed of the timescale and nature of the building works projects to be undertaken, and how this may affect them individually.  Also, you will maintain various databases to show the level of resident satisfaction and will help develop procedures to enable HTS to continuously improve in this area.

You will be required to deal with residents, sometimes in stressful situations so you will need to demonstrate that you have customer service experience.
