Salary £40,988 + Bonus Scheme + Defined contribution pension scheme

URENCO is an independent global energy and technology group operating from the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and the USA.

URENCO ChemPlants Limited (UCP), a subsidiary company of the URENCO Group, have designed and built a new Top Tier COMAH Chemical processing plant and Storage Facility at their Capenhurst site near Chester.

Currently in the commissioning stage, this new plant when operational is designed to de-convert depleted uranium hexafluoride, an output from the URENCO enrichment business, back to it’s natural state of uranium oxide.

UCP are recruiting a number of high calibre Technicians to support the ongoing commissioning activities through to a state of normal operation and ongoing future maintenance to the highest safety and manufacturing standards.

This represents a unique opportunity to be actively engaged in the growth of a new World Class facility that has a long-term future.

Mechanical or Instrument/Electrical Technicians with experience of a wide range of engineering equipment, skills and knowledge are required to help deliver a technical engineering service working in a highly regulated environment within strictly controlled quality, safety and environmental standards.

Candidates should have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship and ideally but not essentially, have gained experience within a chemical manufacturing or similar environment.

Successful candidates will be part of a team of 16 technicians, working an annualised hours, dayshift system.
