My public sector client is currently seeking an experienced finance co-ordinator to assist them for 6-8 months on a part time basis (up to 15-20 hours a week)
The candidate will work closely with the LCRF Director and finance manger to provide comprehensive business and financial management services.
The main duties of the role will be;
To raise invoices
Run clinical trials where necessary
Produce business plans to demonstrate cost saving from clinical trials
Produce spreadsheets, using Microsoft excel and work.
Input data and modelling to produce financial consequences for both internal requirements and for outside bodies.
Provide support to the finance manager in preparing and signing service level agreements with supporting departments
To be the first point of contact for those wishing to apply for research grants and funding.
Must have finance management experience
Must have experience of computerised software packages such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook
Experience of costing research projects is desirable but not essential
Must be able to act on own initiative
Must have experience of dealing with conflict
Pay rate is £10 - £14 p/h dependent on experience and this is paid weekly + holiday pay
