Our client is looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Levy Project Manager who will manage the development and implementation of the Apprenticeship Levy within Derby City Council.

The ideal candidate will have the experience, skills and enthusiasm to help make a real difference for apprentices and other learners in Derby City Council and across the city.

Managing a project team to deliver a range of workstreams, the candidate will have responsibility for supporting the development and implementation of an Apprenticeship Strategy for the Council.

Key aspects of the role will involve:

• Planning, managing and co-ordinating linked project workstreams across multiple directorates
• Preparing and delivering project plans, budgets and resourcing
• Developing strategic partnerships with key partners in the city and the region, to ensure Council priorities are achieved
• Developing a communication strategy to ensure key stakeholders and partners are kept informed of project developments and requirements
• Developing an exit strategy for the role, ensuring that key deliverables are achieved and embedded as business as usual

The role is expected to be for a period of up to 12 months
