University Partnerships Manager

Introduction

UK Shidai Education is one of the leading providers of educational consultancy services in the UK. Located in the city centre of Birmingham, we specialise in providing education planning as well as university and college application services for international students within the UK and overseas. The company's growth means we are looking to recruit University Partnerships Manager to support the company's expansion.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To identify target organisation for partnership, matching their needs to UK Shidai's service;
2. To establish external network relevant to UK Shidai's strategic plans to allow representing and promoting UK Shidai Education;
3. To identify opportunities for growing the business and maximising income streams from strategic partnership projects, working closely with sales and marketing team, university partners and other professional bodies;
4. To meet agreed targets for partnership arrangements, working closely with internal team to ensure smooth operation of such partnerships;
5. To manage and develop relationship with existing UK Shidai universities, supporting colleagues who also have engagement with university partners by maintaining and making available meeting records, sharing feedback;
6. To identify challenges for partnership and provide market guidance and feedback to the relevant internal teams in order to ensure that our services are first class;
7. To lead in presenting collaboration opportunities, including projects to universities;

Person Specification:

1. Educated to degree level or equivalent
2. Good understanding of UK education sector and experience of working with university decision-makers
3. International Higher Education experience and strong connections with universities/college/schools in the UK market;
4. Strong track record of getting business proposals developed, agreed and implemented;
5. Experience in delivering targets and proven track record of customer relationship management;
6. Ability to think both strategically and commercially with a good understanding of overall business dynamics;
7. Logical planning and organisational abilities;
8. Computer literate preferably with knowledge of Microsoft Office;
9. Good team player who can portray a positive, ''can do'' attitude, exceeding expectations,
