This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most exciting and fastest growing Event organisers in the world. Due to continued growth, an international portfolio conference manager is now seeking to recruit a French speaking Conference Producer. Someone who is passionate about conducting qualitative research and enjoys creative writing, engaging with key industry speakers including government head figures and high level ministers of state. Gaining valuable topic ideas that will used to produce highly attractive international conference agendas for a flagship portfolio of events, focused on serving the African regions.

Working within a world leading international events organisation, this French speaking Conference Producer will have the opportunity to deliver 1st class conference agendas and programmes for an award winning portfolio of high profile conferences and exhibitions, across many locations in Africa and also working on smaller events throughout the year across other world-wide locations such as Latin America, Asia, Europe and America.

Occasional international travel will be a necessary part of this role, so a valid passport is an essential requirement. This role will predominantly be based within vibrant SW London global HQ offices.The day-to-day responsibilities of the French speaking Conference Producer will include:

- Conduct in-depth market and industry research over the phone and in person to develop strong topical event agenda's
- Investigate and generate new topic ideas in alignment with global and regional trends, and provide direction to the conference content
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, shareholders, committee members, advisors, associations and senior government representatives including ministers
- Manage long term supporters as well as connect with and build relationships with new clients, speakers and media partners
- Work with the marketing team in the successful promotion of the forums
- Write promotional copy for the event programmes
- Work with and direct the sponsorship team and delegate sales team to ensure commercial targets are met
- Work with the Conference Manager to manage the budget for the event
- Work towards managing and leading a high-quality range of conference agendas for a portfolio of multi-cultural events
- Excellent management of conference onsite, including dealing with speakers and delegates and logistical arrangements to ensure flawless delivery of the event

In order for your application to be considered this French speaking Conference Producer you must have the following skills:

- A minimum of 12-18 months recent experience gained from working in a research based role, ideally in conference production or within the conference/events industry
- Fluent in English and French (additional languages such as Arabic and any African language is advantageous)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in either Political Science, International Relations, International Development or Economics
- Strong researching skills, excellent copywriting skills as you will be writing high quality agendas, articulate communicator
- Strong ability to engage people over the phone and in person
- Confident and able to build rapport and lasting relationships with senior level players, including government representatives
- Excellent organisational skills and able to deliver the event to high standards on the day
- Flexibility to travel with no restrictions, as you will be researching and running the event programmes globally
- Experience working in Africa or in a multi-cultural international environment would be an advantage
