About Radiodetection:

Radiodetection is a leading global developer and supplier of test equipment used by utility companies to help install, protect and maintain their infrastructure networks. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Technical Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective training to our customers in the use of Radiodetection’s locator products and services.  In addition, the Trainer will provide “train the trainer” sessions to enable our customers to instruct their employees in the use of our products. The role will involve sessions in our office in Bristol as well as travel to customer sites across the UK. In exchange, we offer competitive salary, benefits and a company car.

Key duties of the Technical Trainer:

  • Present training to groups of customer staff.
  • Train Sales staff in the use and operation of the Radiodetection product range.
  • Identify customer training requirements through liaising with customers and gaining feedback from the Radiodetection Sales and the Technical Support teams.
  • Provide ongoing assistance with the development of new training programs and continually evaluate and develop existing training programs for customers to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Working with the Sales team, assist with the demonstration of Radiodetection`s products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Plan and schedule training programs.

Skills and experience required for the Technical Trainer role:

  • Previous experience as a Technical Trainer
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and encourage participation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and reliable with good computer skills.
  • Driving licence.
