Learning & Development Manager - Leadership Design
Location: East Midlands
Salary: GBP28-38,000 + benefits

The role of Learning & Development Manager - Leadership sits within the Leadership, Support and Early Careers Team in our Clients organisation and reports into the Senior L&D Manager - Leadership, Support and Early Careers.

The role is critical in partnering with senior leaders and support teams to understand the short, medium and long term learning needs of leaders in the organisation, and then planning, designing, delivering and evaluating innovative solutions that set leaders up in the best way to deliver the business plan.

The Learning & Development Manager- Leadership has accountability for the development of all leaders across the organisation. The remit of the role covers the needs identification, design, delivery and evaluation of:

Induction of new leaders
New to role and high potential development programmes
leadership development offer - a targeted set of blended leadership resources covering online and face to face

The person:
Degree educated or equivalent
A proven track record in the design and delivery of high quality, innovative leadership learning, including a working knowledge of leadership models and methodologies
A robust understanding of best practice in L&D, including that of learning needs analysis and learning evaluation
Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, including experience of working collaboratively across functions/geographies and managing external providers
Flexibility for travel across the UK and Ireland including overnight stays where necessary
Experience of delivering and gaining results through others
Experience of project management
An ability to thrive and work well under pressure whilst remaining aware of detail
An ability to think strategically and tactically, to listen closely and to translate ideas into action; gaining tangible results
