Location: Sheffield
Salary: GBP45k - GBP50k + bonus
Type: Permanent
Not very often does the opportunity arise to work in a progressive company where the results from organic and acquisitive growth have been surpassed year on year for decade.
We are looking to recruit a HR professional who will steer an exciting HR agenda for a cutting edge logistics and warehouse operation in Sheffield. The successful candidate will ideally be based in the Sheffield travel to work area.
You will be the HR expert managing a small team providing professional support to business leaders. Providing Managers with expert advice on both transactional and change activities in an organisation where change due to the significant growth will be the norm.
Whilst leading on an exciting 'start up' agenda you will have the peace of mind and confidence of working for an established and reputable business with an annual turnover in excess of GBP300m.
We are particularly interested in hearing from HR professionals with 3PL experience. Exposure to complex employee relations, TUPE, Recruitment and HR process is critical. You will be able to demonstrate gravitas in a senior capacity and will be able to demonstrate with solid business justification where you have influenced change.
To be considered for this opportunity, we require the following skills and experience:
• A sound knowledge of HR practice and employee legislation is required to ensure the business remains compliant in its people management
• A breadth of HR generalist experience and knowledge of managing a local remit
• TUPE experience.
• Personal integrity and credibility: proven influencing and engagement skills demonstrated through high level delivery in demanding growth/change circumstances
• A relevant degree albeit we would be interested in qualification by experience.
