The Company, a leading British designer, innovator and manufacturer of exterior lighting solutions, currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Design Team Leader to join their team.

The Role:

They are seeking an experienced Special Product Team Leader to work with Project Engineers and the Customer Support Team to understand customer needs for special products and provide solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop special products as a key member of the Design and Development team.
• Undertake development of existing products to ensure that they meet the needs of the business and market and can accommodate new technologies as and when appropriate.
• Ensure rationalisation of components is continually sought and designed into special (and existing) products.
• Monitor and investigate new techniques, technologies, standards, products and manufacturing methods that may be relevant to the Design and Development teams and DW Windsor.
• Maximise the effectiveness of the Special Projects team through the introduction of improved systems of work.
• Co-ordinate the work of the Design Engineer (Specials) and Configuration Co-ordinator to ensure they produce work in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the business.
• Work with other members of the Design and Development Team, and the company, in agreeing and achieving work outcomes to agreed timescales.
