Vehicle Technician
The commencing salary will be within Scale E starting at £21,999 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £25,656 per annum

The police forces of Devon & Cornwall and Dorset have established a Strategic Alliance to provide a single service within certain functions across the three counties. Some of our current departments will be hosted by Devon and Cornwall Police and others by Dorset Police. We can confirm that the Fleet Services Department will be hosted by Dorset Police. As such, the successful candidate in the Vehicle Technician role will be employed on the terms and conditions of Dorset Police on appointment.
To deliver a prompt, efficient and effective repair service to optimise vehicle availability for all vehicle users. To provide timely and efficient scheduled maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure that all assets owned by both Devon & Cornwall and Dorset Police remain safe, reliable, legally compliant and fit for the purpose for which they were provided. To complete all documentation relating to vehicle repairs and maintenance.
