Our client has the following vacancies in the Customer Services Team:

2 x perm  and 1 x fixed term contract for 12 months

The organisation is an innovative leading provider and developer of affordable housing and related services in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, managing around 11,000 properties.

They currently have opportunities for Customer Services Officers to join their busy teams based in Ampthill and Towcester.  The key responsibility of this role will be to provide high quality customer focussed service for both internal and external customers/tenants.

As a first point of contact you will deal with various enquiries - predominantly by telephone but also by email, post and visits through reception.  You will deliver on promises and be clear about what our client can and cannot do.

The successful candidates will have the experience and resilience to work within a busy and pressurised office environment, primarily dealing with telephone calls across a varied range of services including property maintenance repairs (using diagnostic software) and Rent enquiries/arrears, as well as responsible for the main Reception area of which you will give an excellent impression of the offices to all customers.

You will be responsible for recording all data, communications with customers, contractors and ensure that feedback is followed up and dealt with.

You will also have the opportunity to get involved in looking at ways to move forward in digital innovation in the delivery of customer services in the digital age.

As a strong communicator you will be a great team player with a flexible attitude and the ability to work independently.  Ideally, you have knowledge and experience of working within a housing environment. You will be numerate and have the ability to organise and prioritise your workload.

You will ensure that all customers are treated with respect at all times and will assist with the
administration and office management.

They are looking for the ideal candidate to have an interest in the aims of the Association and if required have the confidence to deal with people in sometimes difficult situations.
