Job Role:

Following a successful 3 year funding bid, the council are looking to recruit a Co-ordinator for their award winning Fit Villages project. This role will work alongside the newly appointed part time co-ordinator to ensure those living in Suffolk's smallest rural communities are supported to become active and connected with their local communities.

The Company is looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic and committed individual with a good understanding of the barriers faced by rural communities - particularly older people. You will need to have a sound understanding of the benefits of a physically active lifestyle and be confident to relay this to rural audiences, for example, Parish Councils.

An excellent communicator, determined to provide the best possible service, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire. A genuine interest in the needs of older people and a determination to connect communities is essential for this post.
