Sales and Purchasing Administrator required 
Full time, permanent - to join our busy, friendly team in Thornbury, Bristol BS35.​

Required Start Date: ASAP
Salary: to be confirmed upon application
Benefits: company pension scheme; holiday entitlement linked to length of service; free parking
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm; Friday 8am-3pm

About You. It is essential that you:
Are computer literate with full working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Have an excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills     
Possess a good command of the English Language
Pay good attention to detail
Are hardworking, flexible and honest
Are a good team worker but also able and happy to work on your own initiative
Are energetic, conscientious, well organized and enthusiastic
Are able to provide a high level of customer service

Preferable (but not essential as training will be provided):
Have a working knowledge of Sage Line 50
Have previous experience in an administrative position

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
General office duties -  including opening the post, meet and greet, answering the phone, maintaining company database, office records, and procedures
Sales Order Processing
Purchase Order Processing
Maintaining Bills of Materials
Chasing overdue Purchase Orders
Invoice checking
Facilitating service work
Liaising with customers, suppliers and staff
Providing general administrative support to staff as required
Participating in meetings when required
