Contract Cleaning Sales Manager
An exciting new position has opened up for a Soft Services Sales Manager within a Facilities Management company based in Central London near Liverpool Street. The company was first established in 2011 and has grown considerably since its inception. Due to sustained growth and the determination to continue this upward trend in their future business, they now require someone to come in and further develop the contract cleaning services side of the business.
-To generate leads/sales for soft services within the FM/Managing Agent market, such as; contract and specialist cleaning, reception services and to cross-sell other hard services.
-Work alongside sales and operations to bring on new business accounts and cross selling opportunities.
-Estimate pricing for new contracts from £15k annual value upwards.
-Negotiate with existing and new suppliers for procurement of materials and equipment.
-Sales reporting and updating of company database - full systems training provided.
-At least 2 years' exposure to a contract cleaning estimating/sales role
-Accurate written and spoken communication skills
-Proactive, learn quickly and be a strong negotiator
-Organised with good IT Skills
-Self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic
-Ability to support on the technical side of tenders/bids
The company offers various services therefore the target market is not one specific sector.
You will need to become competent in estimating across different sectors but particularly corporate offices within the commercial sector.
You will be communicating with various decision makers, so it is essential that you are fluent in English. Job estimating knowledge is required, although training will be provided on the products and services available.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years expertise within business development and sales of contract cleaning services in a previous role. The position will suit a strategic thinker with a direct and concise communication style. A born negotiator! This role is primarily based in Liverpool Street but will require travel to sites for quotations and client meetings. Travel costs to sites will be covered on an expense basis.
The working hours for this role are 40hrs per week ideally 8-5 though the client can be flexible.
The salary offered is up to £40k.
