An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Felt Roofer to join us in Rotherham.

Within this role, you will undertake a wide range of roof repairs and maintenance together with associated works, as instructed working at either the main depot or one of our maintenance area depots.

You will undertake bitumen felting and associated roofing works, as contained in the work instruction given and that is normally associated with the roofing trade.  Whilst undertaking a limited range of roofing work normally associated with other trades, as contained in the Unit multi-skilling arrangement, you will also be responsible for supporting individuals undertaking apprenticeships, work placements or other work-based learning with Morrison / Mears.

In addition, you will also contribute to the planning, origination, monitoring, control and evaluation of operational activities and will be expected to diagnose faults and measure work that needs to be ordered or manufactured.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you are trained to NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds Certificate or hold a recognised craft apprenticeship OR have proven experience of at least five years in a similar discipline.

Candidates for this role must hold a full UK driving licence
