An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Engineering Team as an Engineering Apprentice at our Barway site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the main purpose and responsibilities are:

To assist with breakdowns and to perform preventative maintenance under engineering supervision ensuring the efficient running of the site. Completing relevant paperwork promptly and accurately. Assist with the maintenance of the site and it’s services, developing an understanding of the Health and Safety regulations and responsibilities Assist with the design, construction and installation of new machinery, and keep up to date with new technology

To be successful you will need:

No formal or educational qualifications as you will be working towards this at college as part of the apprenticeship. CAD experience beneficial Computer literate Dexterous Communication skills both written and verbal Basic numeracy Ability to follow instructions
