We are looking for a HEAD CHEF
Full time contract: 160 hours worked over 4 week period
Salary £24,128 per annum
We require an experienced Head Chef to join our catering team, a self-starter with a great passion for food, competent in efficiently executing kitchen administration duties alongside all operational running of a busy kitchen, providing high quality service and food to theatre visitors and audiences.
The successful candidate will have a strong traditional culinary background, proven supervisory experience in a busy kitchen and a thorough knowledge of relevant H&S and food hygiene legislation. Managing a team of permanent and casual staff, you will be a team leader that leads by example with excellent communication and organisational skills and a strong ethos of customer care.
Evening and weekend working is required. Usually working hours are scheduled on a rota basis over 5 days each week (Monday to Saturday) Core hours are 10.30am-7.30pm, but the post-holder will need to be flexible to meet the operational needs of the department. No split shifts.
