We have a unique opportunity to join an established and growing CEM, who provide sub-contract electronic manufacturing services across the UK. You will be joining a company who are focused on complex PCB assemblies and committed to providing a professional and high quality service.

Based in Aldershot, you'll be operating from a clean and modern production facility as part of a small and friendly team, contributing to the sustained growth and high quality service this company is renowned for.

Role Summary

•To maintain and improve current operating procedures and manage ISO quality standards. This hands on role will engage and lead internal quality teams to ensure the conformance to modern standards.

•We are seeking someone who has experience within the electronics sector, ideally with a background in IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001.

•You will be involved in maintaining ISO9001/2015/QMS approval, internal audits, continuous improvement planning, process audits and process reviews.

•Organising all relevant internal QMS related meetings, managing and undertaking internal action tracking logs.

•Interaction with customers, providing efficient first line response for RMA investigation and route cause. Creating 8D reports and implementing corrective actions.

•Managing a QA assistant's daily routine/tasks

•Supporting QA/manufacturing staff to refine and improve process control, product quality and manufacturing functions - ensuring any analysis is concise and well documented.

•Organise and deliver internal team training to IPC standards and internal processes.

•Organising/Reporting on KPI's for QMS related data, with recommendations and subjective analysis.

•Manage technical changes within the internal processes.
•FAIR reports on finished goods.

•Supporting the organisation of equipment calibration, supplier conformance/performance, key equipment maintenance schedules, ESD controls.

•Undertaking small projects, such the review of capital equipment.

•Engaging with production processes to support and validate product quality and ensure all aspects of product assembly are completed within the specified scope of IPC610A Class 3/J-STD-001.

Key Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent office administration skills to include; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint - Additional use of ERP/CRM to manage tasks.

You will need a logical and organised work ethic and good problem-solving acumen. Previous exposure to the AS9100/13485 approvals would be a distinct advantage.

Full understanding of the IPC standards with experience in PCBA manufacturing.

Important Information

The role is based on a 39 hour week. Benefits include company contributed pension scheme, 27 days paid holiday (plus Bank Holidays)

To be considered you will need to be able to commute to Aldershot on a daily basis within 30/40 minutes.
