Salary of circa £20,000 pro rata includes performance related bonus

Pasta King is the leading provider of nutritious pasta meals to schools in the UK, with over 20 years’ experience in the food industry.

We are looking to recruit an Outbound Sales and Customer Service Advisor to join our busy sales team based in Newton Abbot.

The successful applicant will require a high level of accuracy to be responsible for taking and inputting sales orders onto our IT client database system in a busy call centre environment.  The role consists of promoting and upselling our product ranges and monthly promotions with a view to maximising revenues for the company whilst working to monthly sales revenue targets

The ideal candidate will need to provide superior customer service including effectively demonstrating complaint handling and resolution skills. You will be working in a busy team environment and expected to possess the ability to multi task and prioritise your day liaising with carriers and dealing with distribution and transport issues.

Key requirements:

• Proficient experience of MS Office and Databases
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience of dealing with high volume calls
• Experience of a sales target driven
• The ability to manage time effectively in order to complete tasks and achieve deadlines.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A team player with a positive can-do attitude
• Ability to multi task and prioritise
• Experience in a similar role desirable
• Monday – Friday 7.30am -3.30pm (term time only)
