I have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator role based in Thatcham. Wage: 7
Job duties include:
Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
Preparing routine correspondence
Typical qualifications and experience:
Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Maintain JPA personal records for all unit/sub-unit personnel and ensure all fields are accurate including ID Discs, will forms and locations.
Carry out arrival procedures for all personnel administratively assigned to the Bde/unit/sub-units.
Ensure all personnel have a valid passport (operational requirement) and in-date visa (for non-British) component (NBC) if applicable.
Control and maintain absence data for all ranks and dependants, including all travel warrants.
Run termination forecast and update termination check list under the supervision of the Sys Co-ord.
Where applicable, ensure all NBC and DOMCOL are registered if eligible and keep the register up dated.
Ensure individuals are aware that they are responsible for maintaining their data on JPA.
Know and understand the rules for different types of absences,
Ensure all documentation for births, marriages and deaths are correctly maintained.
Produce timely unauthorised absence documentation.
Maintain all personnel pay accounts in accordance with current regulations. Provide a basic level of interpretation.
Process applications for PAX and Forces Safeguard. Administer financial occurrences.
Conduct monthly checks on personnel?s statement of earnings and rectify anomalies.
Verify and process documentation for PSTAT changes.
Issue and maintain all accountable documentation.
All other HR Administration tasks as directed by the RAO.
Possibility of weekend work (max 1 in 4) repaid with Time Off in Lieu (TOIL).
Responsible to the RAO, the job holder will be responsible for the administration fo pay, allowances and documentation for both Regular and Reserves within the Bde.
