A global leader within agricultural and construction equipment is actively seeking a Quality Technician to perform technical mechanical Quality support from their production facility. The successful Technician will have a technical background (ideally mechanically qualified), be flexible for occasional overnight stays, and have the ability to read technical drawings.
Commutable from: Chelmsford, Southend on Sea, Romford, Basildon, Harlow, Dagenham
Salary: GBP 25,000 - GBP 27,500 p.a. plus holiday bonus, company bonus, life assurance, pension

The Role
As Quality Technician you will be the interface between the UK manufacturing facility and the sister site in Belgium. Through carrying out regular detailed investigations and data capture on specific technical concerns and performance issues, you will be able to diagnose and repair small repairs and missing parts and provide hands on mechanical technical support to the department.
The Person
The successful Quality Technician will have a solid practical understanding of technical diagnosis, and ideally (although not essential) hold a mechanical engineering qualification. Highly motivated, proactive, and the ability to develop a working relationship with suppliers and customers, you will be able to occasional travel to the sister company in Belgium, with corresponding overnight stays.
