This internationally recognised global vehicle manufacturer, is now actively seeking a Maintenance Electrician responsible for carrying out site repairs and planned maintenance tasks. The successful applicant will have a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, conversant with PLC's and be flexible to work shifts (earlies and evenings).
Commutable from: Chelmsford, Southend on Sea, Romford, Basildon, Harlow, Dagenham
Salary: GBP 30,000 - GBP 34,000 p.a. plus holiday bonus, company bonus, life assurance, pension

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the successful Maintenance Electrician will respond to a range of production-related activity involving both plant and machinery, whilst also carrying out planned maintenance tasks. Through providing engineering support for the Operations team, you will ultimately be tasked with minimising downtime and maximising production.
The Person
The successful Maintenance Electrician will need to hold a minimum of City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 within Electrical Engineering and preferably be a time-served engineer from ideally a Production line manufacturing environment. A general multi-skilled engineering appreciation will be ideal, with exposure to PLC fault-finding and competent with single/three phase and low voltage control applications and installations.
