Night Porter - Stunning Hotel - Immediate Start

My client, a stunning Cornish coastal hotel, based on the Roseland Peninsula, nr Truro is looking for an experienced Night Porter to join their team.

The successful Night Porter will be responsible for the security of the hotel at night and ensure all guest needs are taken care of to the standards set by the company.

Other types of responsibilities to include:

• Assisting the Duty Night Manager in all security procedures

• End of day and cashing up procedures

• Cleaning of public areas

• Being familiar with all fire safety and health and safety procedures

• Diplomatically dealing with intoxicated guests/customers, not allowing them to disturb other hotel guests

• Having good knowledge of the hotel and surrounding areas

• Having good knowledge of the hotel EPOS and booking systems

As Night Porter you will need to be alert and friendly during the middle of the night in order to fulfil job requirements and deliver a high standard of customer service to guests.

Other essential requirements:

• Proven previous Night Porter experience

• Polite and friendly manner

• Smart appearance

• Physically fit, for carrying guest luggage

• Trustworthy

• Clear communicator and quick problem solver

Qualifications in Hospitality and/or Conflict Resolution would also be an excellent advantage.

This is a permanent position and shifts will be 10pm - 8am, 5 days per week to include weekends.
An excellent rate of pay is on offer for this Night Porter position with additional gratuities.
