Depot Manager / Branch Manager

Due to expansion plans, a position has arisen for a Depot Manager in Doncaster.

A bit about the company:

A privately-owned company fulfilling the needs of plumbers and builders from 15 trade counter locations (depots) across the North of England.

Based in Bolton and founded in 2005, with 130 employees and over 7000 traders. It has grown organically and has ambitious future growth plans to achieve 200 depots through investment in systems and people.

What you'll be doing:

You'll spend the first few months getting to know the business by spending time in the depots, working alongside the team so you have all the knowledge and skills you need before taking over the reins. Once in a depot, you will have the opportunity to:

- Coach and develop your team to enhance colleague engagement, improve productivity and provide a pipeline of talent.
- Grow a profitable depot by developing new business and maximising opportunities through expert advice
- Deliver outstanding customer service through you and your team to build lasting relationships with your traders
- Make Commercial decisions in line with the company's values that will help the depot to grow profitably

A bit about you:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of leading and inspiring teams. Previous experience within a trade is advantageous, but not essential. It doesn't matter what sector you come from if you have transferable skills e. - Inspirational Leadership, Operational Management, Sales Experience, Great Customer Service and Commercial Acumen.
