Sense are currently looking for a permanent Area Manager to join our Sense Trading team, working 37.5 hours per week, full time.

Salary: £24,590 - £31,660 per annum
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for the maximisation of sales and profit of Sense Shops within the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Cheshire East. You will do this by developing and promoting the area, including opening new shops and updating operational systems and management practices.
As our Area Manager, you will line manage Shop Managers, Assistant Shop Managers and Shop Assistants. You will lead in the effective generation and control of stock within the area to ensure each shop achieves its full sales potential. In addition to this, you will play a leading part in the setting of realistic yearly area budgets.
A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.
It would be fantastic if you have project and multi-site retail experience. However, it is essential that you have experience of managing budgets and accounts within a commercial or charity retail environment. You will already have good communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively lead teams of staff and volunteers.
