Administrator - £Competitive Salary – Stowmarket, Suffolk – Full Time, Permanent.

We are advertising for a company that is the original equipment manufacturer of woodchippers and shredders, it is a family owned Design and Manufacturing business with 30 years of heritage. Employing over 70 people at its manufacturing facility in Stowmarket, Suffolk the business has grown significantly in recent years through its passion for its products and a desire to be innovative, achieving an annual turnover of £14m. As an OEM the business has a core engineering team with talented design & manufacturing engineers and is currently seeking a strong and passionate administrator to strengthen its team as the business continues to grow.

Job Purpose

The Administrator will be responsible for collation and presentation of data provided by all other areas of the engineering team as well as assisting with part quotations and purchasing requirements of the engineering department for projects such as new product development. Working for 5 days per week, all requirements and data will be provided from both the engineering and technical functions and it will be the responsibility of the administrator to collate this data in either Microsoft Word or Excel, or in other business systems such as Winman or Q-Pulse and to produce this data to the required format as and when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Gathering data from engineering and technical source
  • Accurate and timely input of the data into the relevant system
  • Compile a range of quotes for new products
  • Ordering parts for engineering requirements such as NPD and warranty
  •  Produce KPI reports in an accurate and timely manner
  •  Enter MRP data into Winman
  •  Collate data from Winman and create KPI report’s
  •  Assisting with the creation of technical files
  •  Collating supplier information required for technical files
  • Entering data into Q-Pulse
  •  Generating various Q-Pulse reports
  •  Other jobs as requested by your line manager or a director

Skills/ Attributes

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  •  Ability to learn Business systems i.e. Winman, Q-Pulse
  •  Good work ethic
  • Ability to work to deadlines, quickly and accurately under pressure

Qualifications

  •  A level and above or proven experience
  •  Administration qualification or proven experienced
  •  Purchasing qualification or proven experienced
