Our client is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join their team in a junior / trainee position, with excellent training and career prospects available for the right candidate.

About the company:
Our client is a successful and growing commercial and industrial electrical installation contractor based in Devon, operating throughout the UK on a wide variety of projects for many different clients.

About the Role:
Initially you will be supporting the existing management team, assisting with administration, estimating, project management, procurement and the company's other day-to-day activities, building a solid foundational understanding of everything they do.

Long-term, you will train towards becoming an electrical estimator / contracts manager. Rate of progression and level of training provided will be dependent upon the successful candidate's own development and any previous experience / existing qualifications.

The role will be predominantly office-based, with site visits (a driving licence is essential). A period of site-working as an electricians apprentice may be required for a candidate without any electrical background.

Once fully trained, you can expect to be preparing estimates and tendering for contracts with values of up to and in excess of £1M, and / or project managing these same contracts. This is a fantastic long-term career opportunity for the right individual.

Salary negotiable DoE.

About the candidate:
You will possess a high-level of numeracy and literacy, solid IT skills and a practical approach to your work. You will be presentable, with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well within a team and under your own initiative. Enthusiasm and a desire to learn are vital.

Electrical qualifications and experience are desirable, but not essential.
