Part time 33 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary Scale £31,696 - £41,787 per annum, pro rata  (depending on experience)

Contract of employment is with Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust

however the pay scale mirrors NHS Agenda for Change Band 7

 

Woodlands Hospice is an independent charity providing Specialist Palliative Care to patients living in South Sefton, North Liverpool and Kirkby in Knowsley. The Hospice offers patient services through our Inpatient Unit comprising of 15 beds, attendance in the Wellbeing & Support Centre including our Lymphoedema Service, Outreach and Hospice at Home Service in South Sefton only.

An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Senior Nurse to join our dedicated multi professional team as Wellbeing and Support Centre Manager, promoting holistic care and best practice in symptom control for patients with a palliative diagnosis living in the community.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the quality of care delivered by the Well-being and Support Centre and Hospice at Home and work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to develop these services. It is essential that applicants have demonstrable experience as a senior nurse working within a palliative care.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading, managing and organising the Well-being and Support Centre services and Hospice at Home. Applicants should have demonstrable experience of line management and development of a clinical team and effective management of change.

The successful applicant must have substantial post registration experience.
