BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Charles Booth Centre (CBC) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) responsible for the management and smooth running of the Thringstone Community Centre. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for managing the existing activities and relationships with both internal and external user groups within the Centre. The role will also include responsibility for:

• Developing new business and growing the fulfilment of the CBC
• Management of all business facilities including H&S and maintenance activities
• Researching and securing funding and grants for current and new community activities
• Managing staff and volunteers to support the Centre’s community programme

We are looking for a commercially minded, creative and self-motivated individual preferably with experience of event management. In return we’re offering the autonomy to continue our exciting journey developing the Centre as a CIO providing community activities for the people of Thringstone and surrounding areas.

The role is a part-time position, 24 hours per week, days and times to be agreed although some evenings and weekend working will be required. The salary is £22,500 per annum (based on 37.5 hour week).
