What your role will be

You will report directly too the senior accountant who is looking to appoint an individual that is passionate about accounting and who enjoys engaging their customers.

You will provide constructive financial advice and support to key stakeholders that will contribute to the development strategy of their business areas. You will ensure the production of timely Budgets, Management Accounts, Projections and Financial plans ensuring operational activities are controlled. You will also ensure that monthly reporting packs including both finance and non-finance performance information and narratives.

The main part of your role will be to ensure that all income, expenditure, assets and liabilities are monitored and controlled to ensure that budgets and financial plans are achieved.

We are looking for an innovative individual that is confident to make recommendations that could improve financial performance, e. cost savings, income generation, make-or-buy decisions and investment and divestment decisions.

Your background

To be considered for this role you will need to be part qualified studying towards final exams (ACA or CIMA) with a proven track record of working as an effective Accountant. We need someone that has experience of influencing their customers and has dealt with senior stakeholders including senior managers and/or Directors.

Experience of using the Business World system would be highly advantageous.
