SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN
37 hours per week, Term Time Only
Starting Salary Grade 3 SPC 10 (Actual Salary £14,578 per annum)

The Governors wish to appoint a full-time Specialist Technician to support Science and Design and Technology, including Art. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed team player who will support the teaching and learning within both departments. This role involves working with the Senior Science Technician in the preparation of equipment and resources for both practical and theoretical lessons.
The person appointed will need to be organised and flexible, self-motivated and resourceful. The desire to work in a school environment is essential. The successful candidate will become part of a school team that is dynamic, forward thinking and has a vision of excellence for students of all abilities and backgrounds.
We are an 11-18 Catholic comprehensive school serving Burton on Trent and the surrounding community. We are continuously developing and improving the school which has Specialist Sports College status and we are committed to providing stimulating, challenging and high quality teaching and learning. The school will be joining the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust with the Catholic Diocese of Nottingham from 1st September 2018.
