Account Manager
The Account Manager will be responsible for the account management, production management/planning and delivery of a range of drink brand led campaigns and projects across our four core business functions reporting in to our Creative Director & Head of Production and our Managing Director.
The role will be primarily office-based with significant time also spent undergoing client/supplier/staff meetings, site visits, activations, events and client hospitality.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- being the key contact for allocated & existing clients;
- Managing client relationships and working closely with brand stakeholders
- having responsibility for the planning and delivery of allocated campaigns and projects, according to client brief and Sweet&Chilli’s scope of work;
- undertaking budget management of allocated campaigns and projects to ensure cost efficiency and profit maximisation in all work undertaken;
- undertaking efficient and regular reporting, both internally and externally, in line with Sweet&Chilli’s brand identity;
- proactively identifying new business and business development opportunities;
- ensuring both internal and external deadlines are met consistently;
- undertaking event management as required;
- undertaking WIP updates internally and externally using Sweet&Chilli templates;
- producing and developing regular M&E reports for allocated campaigns;
- identifying new opportunities for client campaigns;
- undertaking the administrative management of all allocated accounts, projects and campaigns including, quoting, invoicing, scheduling, staffing P&L/budget reconciliation and reporting;
- identifying, establishing and maintaining an accurate record of all relevant client contacts;
- developing detailed proposals and quotes to client briefs including writing, delivering, presenting proposals as required according to agreed deadlines;
- maintaining project budgets and margin enhancement;
- identifying personal development and training requirements;
- developing a thorough understanding of our client’s marketing objectives and how our four key brand functions can integrate with their business;
- developing assets and marketing collateral;
- liaising with relevant client brand teams to determine brand focus and budgets for activations;
- identifying and actioning/sharing opportunities for new business generation according to established targets;
- managing key supplier relationships as required;
- working with all Heads of Department to improve ways of working throughout Sweet&Chilli’s four departments;
- planning, developing, executing and managing full event production on allocated projects;
- managing database of production suppliers;
- managing budgets and enhancing margins in line with production department targets;
- ensuring excellent customer service and quality control in all aspects of the role;
- undertaking client hospitality as required to effectively manage accounts; and
- ensuring all work is both H&S and CSR compliant.
Criteria for selection
The candidate must possess the following attributes:
- be degree educated;
- have proved agency experience in account management;
- have experience developing creative concepts according to a campaign brief;
- have proven experience working with or alongside an event production team;
- have proven experience working in top industry bars or hotels;
- have experience working with drinks brands and an in depth knowledge of cocktails and cocktail culture;
- have an understanding of key industry personnel and network of existing relationships;
- be literate on all Microsoft Office programmes with the ability to create presentations via PowerPoint (or keynote); and
- be literate on Sketchup and Photoshop.
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum
