IT Integration Analyst (Business Intelligence Developer) MEAR65304

Exeter

Starting salary £40,000 (rising to £47,000 after successful completion of probation)

Here at Mears Group our vision is to make a positive difference to the communities we serve.

We do this by improving homes, improving communities and improving lives and our approach is based on the development of outstanding partnerships with employees, clients, tenants, customers, their families and the wider community.

With staff of all ages and walks of life, a job with Mears has a rewarding impact on the lives of others and your own life. With offices across the UK, a job at Mears could be just around the corner.

Here at Mears Group, we are now looking for an IT Integration Analyst to take responsibility for the specification, development, documentation, testing and support of data integration processes. These processes are largely built on Microsoft SQL Server but also consist of solutions built on .NET Web Services. This role must cover these core technology areas and solutions must be robust, efficient, performed to an agreed level of expectation and delivered on time.

So if you have proven commercial experience of SSIS/Service Broker using SQL Server 2008-2014, using .NET development languages C# and VB.NET and of writing web services, preferably WCF and Web API then we would love to hear from you.

With strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, you will have excellent understanding of T-SQL and creating performant SSIS packages and have the ability to deal with XML and Flat files such as CSV, Tab Delimited and other defined formats. You’ll need to be naturally inquisitive regarding data within the system and be able to methodically test systems and conform to the specification/process.

Although not essential, experience of integrating systems in a social housing and/or domiciliary care environment would be an advantage.

Once you join the family, you'll have online access to a range of voluntary and flexible benefits, including...

  • Training and development
  • Mears Advantage - Allowing you to save money on everything from weekly groceries, to your annual family holiday
  • Mears Assist - A confidential hotline open to all colleagues, providing support on a wide range of personal and work-related issues.
  • Long service and additional holiday leave - Colleagues who stay for a period of time at Mears are rewarded for their service.
  • Seeing first-hand the impact you have on the lives of the people you support
