Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper. Market Harborough. Our client is a successful firm of Chartered Accountants. It is seeking two people to join its team predominantly as bookkeepers who have worked in practice, preferably for at least 5 years. Candidates may be AAT/ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience.
Candidates will need to be able to prepare draft Accounts to review /trial balance level for Limited Companies, sole traders, partnerships etc. There will also be some bookkeeping duties and preparation of management accounts. The firm also have a small number of audits so some audit work will be involved too.

The firm uses various software packages such as Xero, Tas Books, QuickBooks and Sage Line 50. It uses CCH for Statutory Accounts. There`s still some clients that have manual records or Excel spreadsheets too. Most of the bookkeeping is done in-house however, we do have some clients where the bookkeeping/management accounts are done at the clients premises so own transport is essential. We have a very wide range of clients covering a lot of different industries.
