My Client is the largest European manufacturer of Punches and Dies for the stamping industry and we are looking for a Production Planner to join the team.
The role:
-
Ensure the Job description on the job card is clear and matches the customer order
-
Ensure the routing is checked and amended if required plus tooling pieces pre-turns /centres instructions are added
-
Check drawing is clear, correct & all measurements/tolerances are correct

Ensure Flats/Coating/Materials/ Insp are highlighted and made clear with instructions on the card and stamps

Utilise Sage and Catalogues to resolve Queries

Communicate with the Sales Team to resolve any issues
-
Attach Job card to the back of the drawing
The candidate
- Experience of working within Manufacturing
- Engineering process background an advantage
- Ability to read Engineering drawings
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Positive can do attitude essential
Hours:
7.15am to 4pm Mon to Thursday, 7.15am to 1.00pm on Friday
