Legal Assistant- Risk and Compliance Department
A vacancy has become available for a Risk & Compliance Assistant in our Lincoln office to assist in the Risk & Compliance Department.
The Risk & Compliance Department covers all matters relating to regulatory compliance and risk management. Reporting directly to the Risk & Compliance Partner you will gain exposure to all areas of the business in particular those relating to the Solicitors Code of Conduct, Regulation, Complaints, Data Protection and Anti Money Laundering Procedures.
You will have an active role in ensuring a culture of operational risk management, assisting with the implementation, development and monitoring of the Firm’s policies and procedures. A strong academic background will be a significant advantage.
The role requires:
- Strong judgement and critical thinking skills
- The ability to work independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills and to be able to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
Knowledge or experience of the legal profession is desirable. The position would suit a law graduate or person with experience of working in a law firm.
