Marketing Manager

This is an opportunity to join an innovative manufacturing and sales business operating in the animal health and nutrition marketplace. A vacancy has arisen for a Marketing Manager to help deliver the company's marketing strategy in the short, medium and long term.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with the ability to think creatively to help the company develop existing and grow into new markets.

This is an exciting, varied and very much hands-on role where knowledge of the agricultural and/or equestrian industry would be a distinct advantage. Corporate image and branding is an important function of the role as the candidate will give direction to their external design agency and other suppliers when required. Driving online sales is a key responsibility therefore experience of social media campaigns is essential. Travel throughout the UK will be necessary to attend shows and exhibitions when required as well as regularly interact with the direct-to-farm sales team and customers.

The position is based at the Company head office in Crediton, Devon but for an exceptional candidate with industry-specific experience, a home-based role within the UK may be considered. Applicants must be educated to degree level or have equivalent industry experience and have a thorough understanding of marketing and the role it plays within business.

Experience must have been gained within a business sector where the focus has been on selling products rather than services. The possession of highly effective interpersonal skills is essential along with the ability to work on their own initiative, taking a pride in the end result. The ability to add tangible value to the Group is a prerequisite.

Salary will be commensurate to experience; other benefits include company car, company pension and 25 days holiday.
