We are currently recruiting for a Support worker in to join a dynamic and dedicated team, which is dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, in their own flats in the community. The work that you do will enable these individuals to lay foundations for their future, which will support them to achieve important goals and make positive changes.
You will need to have a keen interest in working with individuals who have long terms mental health issues, often alongside associated problems with drugs and / or alcohol and possible connection with the criminal justice system. The perfect candidate for this exciting role would be someone with experience with mental health and a level of qualification not necessary in the health and social care. Most of all we are looking for individuals who are keen, highly motivated, able to work with some level of direction, but also able to show a high level of autonomy.
You will be part of a team which also includes a senior worker, support workers and night time support workers. There will be opportunities for promotion within the organisation, as posts come up, and as an existing member of support staff you will be actively encouraged to develop your skills and grow within the company.
Successful candidates can look forward to working in an environment that encourages independent thought and ideas in a supportive and collaborative team framework. The hours of work are Monday - Sunday with a variety of shift patterns. Examples of shifts; 7am - 3pm, 9am - 5pm, 12pm - 8pm, 2pm - 10pm
A Salary of £16,500 pa
Benefits include; 4% Bonus of salary, health benefit Scheme and a company Pension Scheme environment.
