Our client is delighted to be a key partner in an innovative Worcestershire consortium who have been successful in securing an additional £1 million of Lottery and European Social Investment Funding – Building Better Opportunities (BBO).
To take forward our success they are seeking to appoint a Business and Administration Apprentice to train over an 18 month period to carry out duties and provide a high quality of administrative support under the direction of the Quality and Compliance Manager within the Finance & Records team for the BBO contract.
Although training will be provided, this is a challenging but rewarding role and will require the successful candidate to be innovative, accurate and have high attention to detail with demonstrable organisation and planning skills. The successful applicant will have good levels of literacy and numeracy and some business and administration experience.
The successful applicant will be an essential part of the team as they work their way through the Business and Administration Apprenticeship. By the end of the apprenticeship they will have sound knowledge and the competence to be able to operate their way around most Business and Administration roles.
Worcestershire BBO has been shaped by the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, and the Big Lottery Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth. This success has come from the Worcestershire principal Housing Associations and a range of specialist Voluntary Sector Organisations working together to establish the Fusion consortium.  Fusion offers managing agents such as the European and UK Government a local solution for national programmes.
This post is an up to 18 month fixed term contract depending on start date and will be funded by the Big Lottery and European Social Fund.
