The job
As QA Technician, the purpose of your role is to manage and monitor product quality and legality checks, CCP audits, raw materials inspections, documentation checks / audits and factory standards through in-house audits (GMP, line audits etc.)
You will ensure that product / packaging finished goods are to specification, ensure that site CCP checks are being adhered to, carry out product quality and quantity checks, audit production line paperwork, log, investigate and respond to corrective actions, aid in the updating and issuing of factory documentation and as a member of the site audit team, carry out internal audits as per schedule.
Your experience
You will ideally be educated to a degree standard in a food science/technology discipline and possess previous food manufacturing quality assurance experience. You will have good knowledge of food safety standards and additional qualifications including Internal Audit and Basic HACCP would be an advantage. To succeed in this role, you will have good interpersonal and communication skills, be proactive and have a flexible "can-do" attitude. A UK valid driving licence is also desirable.

The QA Technician job is based in the North West region and is paying GBP21,000 - GBP23,500 plus overtime. The hours are a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.
