Ambitious???Driven???Dedicated???Leader???
Are these words that you would use to describe yourself in your recruitment career so far? If your answer is yes, then you could be exactly the right individual we need to take our Edinburgh branch to the next level. Situated in a prime, city centre location, we are looking for a Branch Manager who not only demands success locally, but also has a consistent desire to take the Stafffinders name far beyond Scotland's cosmopolitan capital.
Who we are???
Stafffinders are a second generation, family-led business, very much at the forefront of temporary and permanent Scottish recruitment since 1971. So much so, we have won several awards, most recent being "Outstanding Performing Business" at the 2017 ROCCO Awards. With offices in both the west and east coast, we cover the length of breadth of Scotland (also internationally thanks to the continued success of our sister company, Kingpin - who are also recruiting in Edinburgh, in case that's more to your liking!). Members of both APSCO and REC trade bodies, our values and ethics are very much in line with our family background. We also work closely with both community and charity organisations, recently playing an active role in the Paisley 2021 bid as well as raising awareness and funds for charities such as Cash for Kids.
What we want from you???
As Recruitment Branch Manager, you will need to be self-driven, goal orientated and a natural motivator. Your attitude to recruiting should be infectious, with no thought given to being second best. Competitive in nature when it comes to building the branch client base and reputation, mirrored by the desire to deliver unparalleled customer service at all times. You should be a forward-thinking individual, keen to take an active, day-to-day role in developing your team and ensuring their full potential is achieved. Looking to be a desk jockey, tied to your emails in your next management role? Perhaps give this one a miss, as not only will you be overseeing a successful office, but you will also lead from the front as a top billing consultant.
As for experience, we are pretty flexible. You may be a Divisional Manager or Managing Consultant, looking to prove they have what it takes to manage a branch for the first time. Or you may be an existing Branch Manager, but still possessing the desire and ambition to run and develop a recruitment operation, the envy of its competitors. We don't want to say, "you must have 5 years plus experience", we'd much rather you show us a track record of fantastic recruitment success and a first class attitude to boot. Whether your experience in recruitment is in one specific sector or you have worked in a variety of disciplines, we are very much open-minded. What we really want is a manager who wants to drive our Edinburgh branch to exciting new levels, with a team not afraid to recruit in a multitude of industries.
What you get from us???
Quite a bit, would be the answer. Highly competitive salary, management bonus opportunities and achievable commission would be for starters. The job achieves the rare balance of having a high degree of autonomy, whilst having a strong support network in our Paisley Head Office. You will get the chance to have your ideas heard and implemented, as we don't like to micromanage, rather be supportive and open-minded in our approach. You will also get the chance to earn industry accredited recruitment qualifications from the REC, along with the opportunity to personally develop through world-renowned training plans such as those by Social Talent. It's not all "Eat.Sleep.Recruit.Repeat" with Stafffinders. Taking its cue from its family origins and recognising the importance of work-life balance, there is both the potential for flexible working hours, as well time in lieu. Finally, piece of mind comes in the form of private healthcare.
This really is a rare opportunity (our existing Edinburgh Branch Manager has been with us 7 successful years) and one that ambitious recruitment managers should not let pass.
Will it be hard work?...Most definitely.
Will it be worth it?....Absolutely
To apply, please forward us an up-to-date CV. If you want to discuss it further, please call us on (Apply online only) and ask for either Graeme or Fiona.
If you don't feel quite ready to be Branch Manager, but like the sound of being a part of our Edinburgh team, please don't hesitate to get in touch as well
