Trainee Production Operative GBP19,948.50
Our client are looking for a production trainee who is committed to learning operational processes with a view to becoming a fully trained Mill Production Operative.
Duties of the Trainee Production Operative will include undergoing comprehensive training and development to ensure the necessary skills and expertise, to take the business forward, are retained. Use, as instructed, control measures provided for reasons of health and safety (including safe systems of work and personal protective equipment).
Reporting all accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences and co-operating in incident investigations arising from or possibly leading to health and safety and environmental matters. To take care of the health and safety of themselves and others along with reporting any significant hazards and defects that could lead to harm or injury to a person, the environment or company property.
You will have 5 GCSE's A-C grades including Maths & English, FLT license, experience in yard / warehouse / production operator / production operative, have good communication and motivation skills.
Hours of work
08:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday
08:30-16:15 Friday 38.75 hours per week
After the training period the successful applicant would need to be prepared to work 24/7 12 hour day shifts.
The position leads to a post in the Production Department either 12 hour days or 12 hour split shift pattern 24/7.
